I have spent the last year having my Amalgam replaced (6 fillings), as I wastold it was causing my psoriasis. At that time I was warned the process ofremoving the Amalgam may increase my psoriasis. Since removal my psoriasishas disappeared.

I am now interested in the theory of a link to Gout. I am currently onAlly, have not had further attacks since my last heavy attack during Xmas. However must stay well away from matured cheese. Drinking 3 liters of waterper day.

I've heard of the toxicity of amalgams. My doctor wouldn't evenconsider the tests you mentioned especially the hair one. Are thesedone by a doctor or a alternative care provider? Any idea of how muchthey cost? I think back about all of those things I was exposed to asa child like lead based paint, old water pipes, DDT and asbestos inthe school celing tiles. I think a lot of problems we have show upfrom the poisoning we all have.

I agree absolutely. My career of the last eighteen years is industrial air quality (air cleaners, spray booths, clean rooms, fume removal systems, dust collectors, etc.), and you would not believe some of the conditions I encounter even in todays climate of aggressive environmental awareness. I have actually had plant workers in a poisonous fume-laden environment say to me "It's just bad because you're not used to it. The fumes used to make me sick, but I've gotten used to them." WRONG. The body does provide a certain amount of "temperament" when exposed to small amounts of poison, but in the long term the negative effects will triumph. As a child growing up in the 60's, I know for a fact that I was exposed daily to heavy metal poisoning and who knows what else. I feel for certain that many of my health problems are either directly related to or worsened by this fact. Problem is, in most cases, once you have been exposed to toxins to the point of health compromise there is no repairing the damage that has been done.
