					<description>The reason this is important to me is that I an a Type 2 diabetic. A100-gram edible portion contains 8.6 gram carbohydrate. Ten average sizedstrawberries weighed in at 213 gram. For my weight &#038; frame, I am to limitmyself to 14 carbs (1 carb is 15 grams). So if an  appropriate strawberrydosage is to high, then strawberries are not a gout preventive for me.</description>
