Hpt, gout, pb

High blood pressure, hypertension, is associated withgout. Moreover they can actually induce high bloodpressure in rats with high doses of uric acid.

High blood pressure is also associated with heavymetals, particularly Pb. So is gout.

Yet try getting quacks to test you lead levels if youhave either disease much less both.

This high blood pressure/hypertension thing in it’s tie in to goutis a double..maybe triple edged sword. The actual uric acid production getting out of wack..and theexcess uric acid getting into the joints starts in puberty. It takeson average 25 to 40 years to develop.

There are indeed those in the medical community that take thisview..sure..of course he has high bloodpressure/hypertension/obesity..he can’t walk/has been hobbled so manytimes/activity restricted/NO exercise/BAD diet..BECAUSE of gout.Surethese things are not good.Obesity as a factor..again many experts sayALL this is is extra weight on the joint.

We know that there is little help in fixing gout by fixing theother problems. There is plenty of medical evidence that says that NOWis a good time to ALSO address the other issues..and encourage thepatient WHILE on allopurinol..

I actually did read in a medical text somewhere that the ONLY 100%cure for alcoholism is gout..PROVIDING that the health care providercan get the patient on drugs for the attack(s) now..colchicineetc..AND allopurinol..AND convince the patient that the allopurinolwill ONLY help BUT IT IS THE DRINKING!!..this works provided thereare no more gout attacks..
