Gout or ra ??
I was told that Gout attacks are usually in one joint at a time andthat Rheumatoid Arthritis attacks are in multiple joints.
Has anyone here ever had a gout attack in two joints simultaneously? If so, which joints were affected?

I know that the attacks in both my feet have felt “simultaneous”.When that happens, both feet swell, and I don’t want to even thinkabout moving….But, I am doing better now thanks to 300mg a day Allo! yay, I cankinda walk again!

“Attacks” per se..yes. Doesn’t help much IF you “ONLY” havethe “attack” in ONE joint WHILE at the SAME TIME other joints arebeing loaded up with excess uric acid for their turn at bat.Sooner orlater they WILL get their turn.

In answer to your question OH YES!!!!!!
At this moment I have it in my left big toe, my left ankle and my leftknee, and just for fun, in my right knee.
This makes life fun !!!! just try walking with that lot!
But it is getting better (after 3 week of lots of pain!), I should beable to walk in about 2 to 3 days.
Remember with Gout, IT GETS BETTER, live for the good days!
