Allopurinol causing stress
My father suffers of gout and when he takes allopurinal regurlarly, he gets nervous and stressed. So, he avoids using it and uses other “alternative solutions”, like natural herbs, that are not very effective.
Is there any scientific reason for that?
Is there any way to combate this side effect?

I’ve never heard of that.FEW!(if any) people HATE! being drugdependant as much as I do..it bothers me and I HATE IT!..I often wantto NEVER! take another drug..I WAS never going to take allo/startit..even try it.. My methods of dealing with gout proved to be..shall wesay..”unsound” and I ended up here..with NO other choice..I KNOW!that I’m here until I die..I try and accept it..But I am not STUPIDenough(anymore) to go back to where I was.Where was I?Disabled.And inagony.
My thoughts to your dad..there is allo and there is MUCH,MUCH!worse..I know it is a choice..hey..try and imagine ..no allo..nochoice..
